If you can get in to see Dr. Balani, do so. He is exceedingly meticulous and will answer every question you may have. His manner is a bit detached, but he knows his stuff. The office staff, however, has changed many times, and in the past were pretty hard to work with. I'll see how it goes on my next appointment, but am hoping that there's an improvement.

I have never been so disappointed with the Capital Health Gastroenterology group located in the Hopewell hospital. Their hands off approach and lack of concern for what you are going through is mind blowing. Their communication is horrible & you should expect to do a lot of follow-up. Exhausting. Stay far away from this group.

This hospital will assign ER doctors to you without telling you that they are not covered by your health insurance. Then you get a huge bill which your insurance will not pay. I had to file a complaint with the state about this practice. Update. Its been 3 yrs and they have stopped their funky billing practices. Otherwise, they are an excellent ER. Changing to 4 stars

same story. they assign ER doctors (out of network).. plus pad a lot of costs to your billing , even when no service was performed. It seems like a practice that is accepted amongst the healthcare community
