Cape Cod Healthcare Urgent Care - Osterville

I visited this facility twice. Overall, I didn’t feel that the nurses and doctor actually listened and cared about my health concerns. They were not clear about what care they were providing. Later I found out they tested me, without need, twice for strep throat (rapid and lab culture). Had I understood that I would not have agreed, a negative rapid test is sufficient as far as I’m concerned. They sent me home both times saying I had a ‘virus’. I would not recommend this place. My experience was negative, they didn’t address my health concerns and the staff were unclear about the care they were providing. They were robotic and seemed more interested in cycling people through to bill the rnaximum amount rather than actually listening, evaluating and addressing the needs of the patient.

I was quite upset by the behavior of the 2 attendants checking patients in. There was no one sitting at the primary desk facing the waiting area, just 2 young women bellowing for you to come around to the check-in desk. There was absolutely no privacy for any of the patients. Due to the loudness of the questions being asked by the attendants you could hear everyone else’s business….why they were there, their addresses and phone numbers. HIPPA was definitely not being observed. They were also having inappropriate conversations about birth control and a girl seizing at a bar. On the flip side, the staff I encountered inside the treatment area were very courteous and professional. I received excellent care. I think more needs to be done to ensure patient privacy and increase the level of prof

Amazing facility! 30 minutes start to finish! It was very clean and organized. Everyone was very professional, kind and understanding. The doctor took the time to answer all my questions and made some recommendations for a specialist. I don’t know why other people had negative reviews… they aren’t violating your hippa rights, thats just a simple intake procedure for all facilities. This place is great and I highly recommend it in a time of need!

The facility was clean and the staff were friendly and accomodating. There was no wait when I went so I was seen immediately and was in and out all within 30-40 minutes. They truly listened to what I was saying and I feel like I received better care there than any care I've received at the Hyannis location.
