Cape Cod Healthcare Urgent Care - Harwich

I have visited this Urgent Care clinic several times when I am at the Cape and give them 5 stars. The doctors, nurses, and staff are smart and caring and quickly deciphered my needs and treated them professionally and kindly and made impressive future recommendations for follow-up. I’ve had good experiences previously but yesterday I went with an acute walking problem- severe pain with weight baring which started three days ago. I am 86 years old and have a hip prosthesis. My hips were xrayed and then theNP came in to talk to me. She did not examine me just asked a few questions. Since there was no fracture on the xray she said it was probably a soft tissue problem and asked me if I agreed to a trial of steroids. I was surprised. I asked her if she wanted to see me walk - she was surprised but agreed. I couldn’t take two steps without severe pain. I was not drug seeking- I was looking for a diagnosis. She wasn’t interested in me at all as a patient. I was distressed at the state of medicine today. I’m a retired physician. In my day we would at a minimum examined

Should be zero stars. Missed my APL Leukemia after CCH missed it. Almost died from their plain stupidity. Wouldn’t send an injured squirrel in there. Ought to have all licenses pulled on them. DO NOT GO HERE.

I've been to this urgent care myself upwards of 5 times and brought other people here multiple times as well. I've literally never had a good experience or received proper care. The only time it's actually helped me was the two times I went for asthma exacerbations. I went today for a foot injury and a lot of pain and literally nobody examined my foot. They came in, asked what happened, took me to x-ray, said there was no obvious issue, wrapped an emotional support ace bandage around my ankle, and sent me on my way. Due to my job in this area I'm a bit of a frequent flyer bringing myself and others here for different problems. Brought several people for head injuries and they did not even evaluate them for concussions. Simple, easy, basic patient evaluation does not happen here. The lack o

I love coming to this facility. The staff is friendly yet professional. My appt was scheduled for 2 I was in at 2 and waited no more than 5 minutes for the doctor. Dr Jackson was fantastic. My mother even wanted to switch to him as her doctor but he's not taking any new patients. And the lab was quick to.i.didnt even have to wait at all. The test results were posted on mychart the next day. I will recommend this facility to my family and friends..I have also used fontsin urgent care with the same stellar results. Except for the wait time, but that's understandable s due to the type of care they provide. The care is top notch.
