Extremely helpful staff. In my experience prices often lower than CVS and definitely lower than insurance company recommended mail-in pharmacies. Did I mention really helpful staff!

I honestly don't understand how this place stays open. We try to support local businesses as much as we can, but the incompetence here has finally driven us away. There are too many accounts of calling and confirming that prescriptions are filled and ready for pick up and then upon arriving to pick them up we're told 'its not ready", "it hasn't arrived" for prescriptions that were ordered even though the drug store called to confirm its ready. Its sad that we will no longer be doing business here but if I operated this way at my job I wouldn't be employed.

I was a very happy customer with Candlewood Drugs until recently. I picked up a prescription this week. Opened it and used it and noticed it expires in 4 months! It is a 60 gram tube for psoriasis. I only use it when I have a flare up. Most creams are usually good for at least a year or more. So I call the store to make them aware and was told that there was nothing they could do because I had already picked up the medication and left the store. This is unacceptable! Who actually opens their medication in the store to check expiration dates?? This should be done by the pharmacist and pharmacy technicians! Now I am concerned about other oral medications that I get there with no expiration date on the bottle that I receive. Not a happy customer!

Best small town pharmacy and gift shop! I take a lot of medication and was super frustrated with CVS. Switched to Candlewood a couple years ago and it's a huge difference in getting my medication filled as well as superior service! Can't recommend enough

They make sure their clients that take controlled medications are treated nicely, and never looked down on. They are always friendly and efficient.
