CAMP Clinic San Pedro (community medicine)

Truly the best clinic in Los Angeles. I'm temporarily in the US with my cat, and he has a toothache. Since my finances are currently quite tight, I contacted many clinics for help in finding the most affordable offer. After the cheapest offer of $3,200, I despaired and was about to take out a loan when I accidentally found this clinic online. They examined my cat and performed a fang extraction for $400 plus medication. Judging by my cat's condition, I can see that he received very attentive care. The Camp La San Pedro team was always in touch and ready to help and answer all my questions. Jamie, the vet tech, is absolutely wonderful! She was so kind to my dog and I - and treated us with love and care. Arlette also understood the severity of my concerns and processed us in right away without turning us back. Michelle Lopez did a wonderful job on a last minute surgery for my girl, and she is alive, healing, and I already see the light in her eyes being restored to the dog I once knew before her sickness. Very disappointed with this place. I came here to get my cat dental care (surgical extractions) because of the great reviews and low prices. But you get what you pay for... I arrived to pick up my kitty post-surgery and he was in his carrier, completely COVERED in dried, hardened feces. He had obviously been put in his carrier after surgery, had defecated, and nobody had checked on him for quite a while... long enough that it had dried and hardened all over him. We told the vet tech when she handed him to us, and they said that this "must've just happened", and handed us towels and wipes to clean him and the carrier before we left. They didn't even help us clean him up! As if the day hadn't been rough enough on my poor cat, in pain and all, we now had to give him a full bath when we arrive

The staff here were amazing and the doctor noticed something about my pup that previous vets did not notice. They addressed all my questions and concerns. It was 100% worth the drive and unlike other clinics where they charge you a consult fee + every little service they provided, CAMP just charge you for the consult.

My Conny had her spay done at SP location, went well and she recovered beautifully. Staff was friendly and informative.
