Camellia Gardens of Life Care

I had a great visit with my sister; she has adjusted very well. The staff is friendly n appears to care about the residents. The rooms n floors r clean n my sister needs the 24/7 care she is receiving at CG. Thank u to all the staff.I appreciate what u do for all the residents at CG.

My 80 year old mother was placed here after having two strokes in one week end of November 2023. I was living in North Carolina. So soon as I could I got down there. I removed my mother from this horrible place. My mother had lost 20lbs staying here. The food was awful and she said it was always delivered cold. When she asked for more or something else she was told either that's all they have or there was no more to give her. She said she requested to speak with person in charge and he pretty much ignored her. She requested he taste her food and all he said was " I know and I'm sorry" then left and did nothing. When I arrived the person across the hall was screaming and wouldn't stop. My mother had complained about it , but nothing was done. When I asked employee about it when I arrived

We went to vist my uncle William Collins. He had food on him. I understand they are busy around breakfast. He also had fork spoon and cup in his bedding. He was complaining he was uncomfortable. I turned him with pillow. The bed is to short for him. His feet were hurting. I rolled a blanket up and placed them Under his calf to get his feet off the bed. The can was in the room taking vital signs. Wouldn't it be easier to adjust paintings while your are in there.

Our group, Covenant Christian Center was there to render devotionals this morning. We felt very welcomed by the staff and the residents. Everyone was very friendly. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant.

Everyone that I have talked with or encountered in passing has been very pleasant and professional. Thank God for people like this that do what they do. Am getting attached to some of the staff and residents. If I was able I would be there 3 or 4 days a week volunteering. Love and prayers to the staff and residents. Every time we go visit here, we are blessed by residents and staff. Thank everyone!
