Cambridge Manor: Herbin Joseph T MD

This facility has potential if the Nurses Aids and Management put in the effort and care into looking after their patients/residents. Staff only wants to do the bare minimum to show that they did something but fail to meet the necessary requirements they promised to provide. Every time I come to visit, staff members are always huddled together, and if you ask them any questions, they get all upset and bothered to answer questions. Overall, the staff needs retraining on how to care about their job. Remember, they choose this line of work cause at one point in their life they loved to take care of people. So please find that feeling again.

To date as my mother is getting rehab services and we are working to transition her to long-term care at the facility, we have had good collaboration with several staff members. Sharon Coffey (social worker), Harry (case manager), and Franky (business office) have been helpful in a difficult time, and have spent time answering any questions we have. We appreciate their support. My mother has also enjoyed the rehab staff, is comfortable at the facility, and is looking forward to moving to long-term status there.

My experience with Cambridge Manor was a nightmare 😲. My mom's went there from the hospital for rehabilitation, the staff was rude, unprofessional, uncaring, had to stay on them to do their jobs. I was visiting on a regular basic to make sure my mom's wasn't being mistreated, come to find out my mom's was having serious headaches for 4 days straight and no one did anything so I told the nurse to call an ambulance to take my mom's to the hospital find out she had another stroke, I don't know what would of happened if I didn't insist on them getting my mother to the hospital. CRAZY 😧. They really need to shut that place down or get people in there that's caring and professional because what I've experienced let a really bad taste in my mouth 🤬

This is about compliance and follow through. My wife was in hospice care requiring 14 days advance payment, with any unused balance “refunded.” She passed with 2 days balance. I’ve been chasing the refund for over a month with no end in sight. I have enough to deal with without having to chase shady business practices.
