I just had an amazing experience with Calming Effects Therapeutic Massage! Latifa was absolutely top-notch, I can genuinely feel a difference in my neck and shoulders. She created such a relaxing atmosphere and clearly knows exactly what she’s doing. I left feeling lighter, less tense, and completely refreshed. Highly recommend Latifa if you’re looking for a great massage therapist who is very knowledgeable and offers real results.

I came in today for my very first massage…10/10 I’ll definitely recommend Calming Effects Therapeutic Massage!! Location: The massage studio is centrally located in the Greater New Orleans area; within close proximity to downtown New Orleans and 4 minutes from Lakeside mall. The space was easy to find, with off street parking available. Ease of Booking: Booking was seamless and efficient; with a very user friendly booking site. Service: Latifa is EXTREMELY professional. I got the therapeutic massage. Absolutely amazing! I would rate her higher if I could. I was very comfortable, and the massage itself was so relaxing. She really took her time in my problem areas. Cannot say enough good things, book immediately and treat yourself!

I went for a deep tissue massage and it was absolutely wonderful. My masseuse found aches that I didn't even know I had and released them, and she periodically checked in with me to guide me through what she was doing and make sure I was feeling okay. I can't recommend this place enough! I will definitely return :)

Latifa is very skilled , very professional and friendly . She went above and beyond to keep me comfortable. I usually get cold during massages but she had a space heater ready for me and it made my experience totally enjoyable. She communicates well and it shows how much she cares . I ended up adding more time ( thank goodness she could accommodate me ) . So when you book just get the longer massage bc you won’t want to leave ! I’m so happy I found her! I usually don’t really feel better after a massage - I just kind of enjoy it during, but I truly feel better after Latifa blessed me with her therapeutic touch and knowledge. She knows what’s she’s doing! Every time she asked if I could feel a trigger spot , I could . She was right on the money every time ! Thank you Latifa ! 🩵
