Not sure what’s been going on with the pharmacy lately but it seems like your overall experience relies on whoever answers the phone that day. You may get someone helpful or someone who isn’t interested in listening to anything you have to say. The delivery service they provide has always been very helpful and convenient but when the drivers decide not to ring the doorbell or give you a call things become very complicated. With all that being said I love Callen-Lorde but it has been a headache figuring out this delivery.
Their phone system is definitely broken but all the employees are so nice. They really try to help you navigate the messed up medical system we have and in my experience really advocate for the patient. Totally worth the wait times.
Old man with glasses yelling at receptionists over their shoulder while trying to assist guests..time to retire and leave these amazing employees alone
Three times callen lorde has failed to refill my amlodipine prescription. I take it for hypertension and every time I don’t take, my blood pressure shoots up. Not only that but they have been giving me prep for over a year without scheduling me for blood work (required every 3 months), and the last time I saw my doctor she seemed to have forgotten who I was despite 3 years of seeing her (I followed her from another clinic to callen lorde). They are seriously running some kind of racket, it is a joke. So disorganized.
Love my psychiatrist and pcp. The staff here is friendly and there is one person who can find my veins on the first try and draw my blood without discomfort. But it’s unbelievably frustrating that you can’t ever get a person on the phone. This has been an ongoing issue for over 6 months. No one picks up and often when I called and left a message, someone would get back to me but often not in time for what I called. It’s also frustrating that all the locations have the same number and it’s not specific to that location.
