The staff was amazing and very helpful! They helped me save my baby from a really tough situation. They were able to adjust their schedules and did everything possible to save my dog. Bamba is doing very well and she is happy to be home and back to normal. From the bottom of my heart, thanks to every single team member for doing what you do and for giving my Bamba a second chance, I'm sure she felt happy to be there for recovery😊 Thank you! Very poor job on services rendered. Drove in on Thursday to make appointments for my two dogs. Took them in on Monday to have them do what was asked on quote. Quote shows that shots where to be performed on both dogs, baths, and hair cut on Australian Shepherd, nails done. Quote totals 250 to 350. Paid 550 They didn't perform half of what was asked. Shots were only performed on one dog and one bath performed only one dog twice!! Had to take back my dog for cut, another wash and shots on Wednesday. I Never saw the Veterinarian ether day of my visits, but was charged for thier services were rendered. I have no real reason to believe that care l paid for was ever performed! We don’t know if this veterinarian is negligent, if the rescue (Full Circle Rescue & Sanctuary) we were working with is negligent, or both. We had a stray dog that we were fostering, and we were told by the rescue to bring him to Calera Animal Hospital for boarding while we were on vacation. He was also to be neutered and vaccinated during this stay. Despite being very reasonably priced, I wouldn’t recommend this vet to anyone, for any reason. When we dropped the dog off for his pre-scheduled stay, the front desk staff had no clue he was supposed to be there or what he was there for. When we picked him up, he had a wound at the incision site that he’d clearly been left to lick at. He was not sent home with a cone, and there was zero communication about when he was actually neutered, any fo

My wife and I took our awesome dog Prince in for a dental cleaning. The hospital nurses and doctors highly assured us that he was in awesome care and well taken care of! We also appreciated the half-off discount for the dental cleaning in November! I want to highly encourage Calera Animal Hospital to make these amazing discounts available more often! We don’t use any other vets other than this one. And that says a lot, we’re a rescue. They always go Beyond and above for every single one of our animals. They treat our animals like they were their own, and we appreciate that from the bottom of our heart.
