Ms. Luisa Carreiro-Powe, PA-C, is a knowledgeable professional. She listens intently, then clearly provides recommendations and options. I have never felt pressured or rushed during my appointments. On September 8, 2025, I was scheduled to do total right knee replacement surgery by Dr Bradley Boyd at Stone Spring Hospital, VA. Luisa diligently did all my Pre-Op testing including blood work, EKG and clearance documents that were required before the surgery. By August 29, 2025 she had faxed the clearance to the surgeon, well before required. Five weeks after the surgery I was feeling hot burning in my right leg and feared that my varicose veins may have suffered a blood clot.
