BUFORD PEDIATRICS

I recently took my 12-year-old son to this pediatrician because he was sick with a persistent cough and chest pain. Instead of focusing on his symptoms or asking how he was feeling, the doctor immediately began questioning the medication he had taken—asking if he took it by himself, if a parent was present, and how old he is. I told her he’s 12. Her attitude felt judgmental and dismissive rather than caring or supportive. At no point did she show real concern for his discomfort. To make things worse, as she was leaving the room, she muttered, “Oh my God, this is scary,” which was highly unprofessional and unsettling to hear as a parent. Now I understand why they’re always available—every time I call, I get an appointment right away, and it’s likely because they don’t have many patients.

We love Dr Nimi! She is amazing with my baby and as a new mom/parent she explains everything so well! I appreciate that she leaves decisions up to the parents! I have only had a great experience with her and her staff! She is happy to accommodate that we want to delay vaccinations for now.

After the pandemic this place became so unprofessional and extremely RUDE (THE HUSBAND ESPECIALLY) with their patients & the parents! I DO NOT recommend them to anyone looking for a pediatrician! Dr. Nimi she was ok at first but after a while she didn't show much interest in trying to know what was wrong with the kids all she ever did was prescribe the kids to steroids instead of figuring out what was causing certain things within the child!!! I had to find allergist and different specialist on my own just to find out things she could've very well let me know but steroids was always her solution smh IM SO happy I was able to find another Doctor for my kids even though Buford pediatrics REFUSED to send over my kids Medical Records & was extremely rude to the other practice & did not send ov

I am writing this review as a deeply concerned and frustrated parent. My son recently had his first visit with Dr. Nimi after our insurance changed and she was assigned as his primary care physician. He was very sick at the time, and all she did was check his ear and throat before prescribing a nebulizer and a steroid. Days went by, and his condition did not improve. He continued coughing, and today he began vomiting, experiencing hot flashes, wheezing, and was clearly very ill. We managed to get another appointment, but once again, Dr. Nimi merely glanced at him and claimed it was the same issue as before. She only checked his nose and ear and sent us away with the same recommendation—nebulizer and steroids—with no further tests or evaluations conducted. As his condition deteriorated, w

Dr. Nimi is incredibly nice. Not only with me but our son as well. She LOVES kids and it shows. So does her staff! They always make me and my son fill comfortable from the moment we walk in until the moment we leave. We have gone in for illness and physical exams. She explained things very thoroughly and did not hesitate to give additional medical help just in case it would be needed. Also, they have been amazing with working us in the best they are able when we needed it.
