My husband and I recently spent the better part of a day in the Buffalo Emergency Room, where we were treated with great kindness. The communication regarding testing done, results, and recommendations for further care was clear and compassionate. I am very grateful for having access to Buffalo Hospital. In my 22 years of living in this area, I can think of 8 times that someone in my family, including me, needed ER care. Twice the outpatient surgical services were used, and once there was an overnight hospital stay. The medical personnel and volunteers have been kind, compassionate, and gracious in each incident. We are blessed by the Buffalo Hospital community!
Loved this place till today....Had a family member suffer a mental health crisis. They put them in a dark closed room even after they were told the patient was uncomfortable/scared. The patient stayed over night till they were sent to another facility. They went the entire time from yesterday evening to this evening with them having no food or water offered to them or their meds even after I went over ALL the patients meds over the phone. They left them in a room all day no one talked to them or checked in or told them what was going on till the medics came to get them to transfer locations. Is this standard practice to treat a person In an already vulnerable state? The wright cty sheriff's had more empathy and treated them like a human being. Your hospital treated them like an animal.
I am writing this review because our recent experience at Allina Health (Buffalo, MN) was deeply disappointing, especially given the significant trust we placed in the team during the birth of our child. What went wrong: From admission, we felt that the care was delayed and inattentive. My wife’s labor conditions were serious and we expected immediate responsiveness—but it took nearly three full days before our newborn was properly bathed or cleaned. The nurses appeared disengaged, as though they disliked their job or the environment they worked in—this was not just a feeling, it manifested in cold, inattentive interactions. We chose our provider because my wife preferred a woman OB/GYN, for comfort during such an important process; instead we were assigned a male doctor, which in itse
Christmas Eve 2025 I was diagnosed with Pneumonia and the flu at Allina clinic St. Michael. I was prescribed antibiotics and told to take the OTC medicine. Two days later I was sicker than I have been in my entire life (59 years). My husband took me into the Buffalo Hospital, urgent care, we thought, but I ended up being treated in the Emergency department. PA Austyn Cross and the other nurses (I wish I knew their names too, but I was way too out of it), treated me THOROUGHLY and kindly. They were SWAMPED patients, and yet they took really good care of me. I was prescribed a nebulizer for breathing, but Walgreens and CVS did NOT have them. My husband was told to go to a medical supply place in Buffalo, but they were closed. After calling Buffalo Hospital a nurse named Nikki (?) wa
Do not go here if you are high risk with a pregnancy*** The main concerns 1.I should’ve been transferred to different doctor due to being high risk before delivery. Ex thrombocytopenia diagnosis wasn’t monitored well third trimester. It’s a rare condition and causes low platelet count. Body will not clot and recover well if injured. My uterus was injured. I had a c section prior to this, as well as a laparoscopic procedure for endometriosis. All part of my medical history. 2. Instead I ended up nearly losing my life due to blood loss after being in labor for hours. I had two operations c section that failed. I lost over 7 liters of blood. Then a partial hysterectomy to save my life. My water had broke and she allowed me to labor for a long time after. No information given with risks of d
