BSW Texas Spine & Joint Hospital

I have had 4 spine surgeries here in the last year and a half and truthfully this last experience on August 4th has been far worse than my other experiences. I had my latest surgery at 7am on August 4th and the nurse that brings the patients into the prep rooms, an older black woman, was downright rude to my step mother, taunted my father and threatened to have him removed when he asked why she was rude to his wife. She has been very rude during my other surgeries as well. After my surgery I have been put into the new wing on the second floor, room 202, the staff from my first night were fantastic! They frequently checked on me, were very attentive to my needs, and genuinely seemed to care for my wellbeing. Jim was especially helpful and answered the call light very quickly. Controlling m

Fantastic experience! Everyone I met was friendly, helpful and encouraging in even the smallest aspects 💪 - Dr. Mikeska was very professional! If I could add another star I absolutely would for Ms. Mary Helen Morris⭐️ she is an absolute angel! As well as Miss Latonya (our first day nurse) the night nurse Ms. Abby and during our last day Mr. Jacob D. Thank y’all for your kindness and patience. I drove my mom for a procedure. From the moment we walked in, we were taken care of with much dignity and respect! They thought of everything from complimentary coffee to giving me a way to keep track of my mom’s progress to calling me with pick up directions! (Driving around the building to patient pick-up). I’d give 10 stars if I could! Everyone so nice and accommodating! When mom went to change into her gown, it was HEATED!! So was her blanket! They literally thought of everything!!

I noticed BSW took down my review. Since I had to put a 1 star. My problem was with the therapy after the total shoulder surgery. First let me say, how sad we were that BSW can not control their therapist in Longview, Tx. To be little a veteran that has served this country so you can have the freedom to say whatever you need to is awl full. My husband is from Memphis, Tn and talks a little funny. He is not a stupid man very intelligent if you ask me. The therapist had condescending and ask my husband could he count? Understand I was only there because the director had asked him to have me come in so I could learn how to massage the scare tissue. I had never been there before. We will never use Baylor, Scott and White or any of their associates, period!

I had a foot operation on 11/11/2025. The dr did great job but the hospital was very bad I am going to mention 3 points 1- after the operation and I was awakened they gave me cup of water and 2 packs of crackers after I was fasting for over 16 hours. Each pack of crackers has 2small crackers 2- if feel I was pushed out the hospital. I was not fully awake and fit to go in the car 3- I was asked if I want crutches or walker. There did not show me the 2 types to pick one I choose crushes i was not sure the type of walker they will give me. In other places they will show you both and demonstrate how to use them then you choose the one you want and they make sure you are able to use it. I I think it is a bad hospital to have operation in it
