Bryn Mawr Extended Care Center

My mother was at BMEC of the last 2 years. She sadly passed last week. I cannot begin to tell you how amazing the staff is here. They go out of their way to help in every aspect. Their jobs are tiring and brutal but always have a smile on their face. My mother loved them and constantly felt a sense of family there. When she passed they all hugged me and the nurses were all crying. So glad I found this place for end of life care. Gloria my mom’s nurse was the best ever. Grateful ☺️

My brother is being taken care of by an attentive staff with knowledgeable skills. I've visited him several times and there's always a staff member in there or right outside the door. Makes us as a family feel secure with the care that he is receiving. Thank you.

I would not recommend this facility to my dog! Understaffed and unqualified in my opinion. My mother was unfairly treated and her medical needs were not met. If I could post all the health issues she left this facility with I would. I understand that in this industry it’s hard to find good qualified individuals to work but if they were understaffed and could not provide the care that my mother needed they should have referred her out instead of billing her medical coverage and keeping her there when I tried to get her discharged! They gave a # to call to discuss what happened at their faculty-reached out at 4:40pm on 7/24/25 and number was no longer in service! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! They knew my mom was sick because of their neglect and sent her home instead of the ER!😡

My stay was awesome. The care I received was phenomenal. Nursing and rehab was great. I recommend this facility to everyone.

I don't know, if Bryn Mawr Extended Care has changed. I left there, in 2016. But, I've been in 4 nursing home/rehabs, because of around 20 foot surgeries. And, Bryn Mawr Extended Care was the best one, along with Providence nursing home/rehab in Yeadon. The negative reviews, that I've read about Bryn Mawr, don't sound anything like the Bryn Mawr Extended Care, that I was at.
