Great job on the receptionist. Dr Bryan was awful, made me feel very uncomfortable. I had a few skin tags wanted removed. He walked in crossed his arm and said what do you want me to do. I said remove them. He told me insurance would not cover it. I asked how much, he told me that he could pull a number out of the air. Depends on the procedure, which I was there to find out. Left there feeling ashamed. Went to another dermatologist and received great care. I would not recommend this office for anyone.

I have to say that Dr. Hicks at first was courteous and kind of proactive. My last visit with this Doctor was a very bad and disrespectful visit. I was diagnosed with skin cancer with another dermatologist and went to Dr. Hicks for a second opinion. After his assessment and recommendation for engage in radiotherapy treatment, this facility wanted to bill my insurance everything they wanted. Since my insurance was not willing to pay all that was requested and I did not have the financial resources, this Doctor while been in the medical consult looked me in the eye and said to me that there was nothing he could do. The problem was that I had a CHEAP INSURANCE, that he does not works for free. What kind of doctor says that disrespectful remark to a patient??? I found that to be OFFENSIVE

I recently went to Dr. Bryan Hicks in Ocala, Florida because I noticed a new bump on my skin. I have a history of skin cancer on my nose, so I take any new spot very seriously. When I scheduled the appointment, the secretary told me the visit would cost $250, which I agreed to because I wanted to know what the new spot on my back was. Unfortunately, my experience with this doctor was very disappointing. When I tried to explain my concerns and my medical history, he seemed mostly interested in asking what type of insurance I had. When I told him I would be paying in cash, his attitude changed and he told me that what I had could wait a year.
