Brookstone Animal Hospital is truly outstanding. Every single visit, they take the time to answer all of my questions, and they do so with so much knowledge, kindness, and compassion. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and—most importantly—comforting. After losing my heart dog unexpectedly a couple of years ago, going into an animal hospital can be emotionally difficult. From the moment I walk in, the team at Brookstone always makes me feel supported and at ease. I’m so impressed with the level of diligence and care! I brought my cat in this morning for nausea and dehydration. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Dr. Long was fantastic! He was very upfront about pricing and what all the treatment options were for my baby’s symptoms. He went over all his lab work with me and was incredibly thorough with all what could be causing his symptoms. Him and his tech( I don’t remember her name) were amazing at calming my anxieties and talking me through what was likely going on. I drove 40 minutes from my house and I’m very glad I did, I would seriously recommend them! You can tell they genuinely care about the pets they treat and the price was very reasonable for how much they did!

Brookstone Animal Hospital is the best vet around! We drive from Cartersville to take our babies here. Dr. Mizell saved our bulldog, Tank, in 2023 when he was in sudden kidney failure. They were thorough with blood work, explaining medications and how to administer subcutaneous fluids at home. Last year we rescued a black lab, Cooper, and Tank got ahold of his puppy bone when we were at work. Dr. Pritchard located Tank’s obstruction and directed us to Dogwood for removal. After Tank’s surgery, Dr. Pritchard followed up to make sure Tank was doing okay. Lastly, two days ago, Dr. Pritchard performed Cooper’s cryptorchid castration surgery. June 2025: Always happy with the care I experience at Brookstone Animal Hospital. It brings me great happiness to know there are vets and vet techs available to provide my fur balls care. We recently had a scare with our cat Patty and a vertigo/inner ear infection that looked like a seizure. We did our follow up visit with Dr Heier and she made us feel very at ease. Dr Heier is extremely dedicated to the care of your pets. She provided refills on prescriptions and runs all the thorough lab work recommended.
