Brookside Extended Care

Myself and my husband was brought into a situation we didn’t expect. Having a baby we got custody of at our older age. Not knowing my son’s gf was pregnant. Long story short our girl was special needs and was just getting a bit much for us especially with our own health needs etc. to be honest if it wasn’t for Brookside I don’t know what we would have done. They have been such a big help to us with her. I thank them everyday for caring for our girl , had it been perfect no there has been some issues but she is taken care of and I feel the staff loves her .

I have had the best experience at Brookside and working with Madison. I came into this experience blind sided and Madison took me and my cousin under her wing and has helped us tremendously! If it wasn't for Brookside or Madison, I'm not sure if my cousin would have a safe, warm and welcoming environment to live in.

My son is a resident at Brookside. The nurses and the aides are all fantastic with the residents. There is a day program for the older residents and my son enjoys going. Yes they are a little understaffed but who isn't these days. I would highly recommend Brookside to anyone looking for extended care of a loved one.

I recently visited this facility for a telehealth visit that I was scheduled to host on behalf of a provider. Unfortunately, my experience with the receptionist was extremely disappointing. As a medical assistant, I understand the importance of professionalism and empathy in healthcare settings, but the receptionist I encountered exhibited neither. When I introduced myself and explained why I was there, she responded in a manner that was not only rude but dismissive. She bluntly told me that she wasn’t interested and looked at me with disdain. Despite my efforts to communicate, she made no attempt to assist me or clarify any confusion. Instead, she seemed more interested in getting rid of me than in understanding the situation. I had a very disappointing experience with the receptionist at this location. I called with a simple question, but she repeatedly hung up on me without offering any help or explanation. This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable, especially for someone who is supposed to be the first point of contact for customers. It left a very negative impression and made it clear that customer service is not a priority here.
