Brookside Dental

This is the ONLY local dentist that is covered by MediCal, which is what I DEPEND ON. I HAVE TO GO HERE😩😭The Dr. at this place is HORRIBLE 😳😲She is VERY OLD & DOESN’T speak or COMMUNICATE with her patients. She/THEY don’t COMMUNICATE with their patients!! They treated me like a “number” I’ve been waiting TOOTHLESS, FOUR MONTHS for dentures that I have NO IDEA when I’ll get 😩😭This has been a HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE 😩😭😳😱😵At my last visit, when she was finished, she just said “you can leave. We’ll call you.” ??????????????I don’t know what she did or why🙄😳😖They’ll call me”. ????????

Dr. Ngo is hands down the best doctor ever she is very old school a little blunt but I wouldn't have her any other way she was able to take care of my son's teeth today where we had been being shifted around from dentist to dentist for almost 9 months now she got him in and did all four teeth and was able to save his smile in one afternoon. We love the entire staff there they've been my dentist office for 4 years now. She's not going to go into great detail about the procedure she's doing. She will let the nurse or the office manager handle questions and answers. But please please trust the process. She loves to restore people's smiles and when you really get to her you couldn't ever ask for a sweeter person that's going to care more or work harder to make sure you can smile with confidenc

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst experience in my life. I had to have extractions. After being numbed (which was a horrible experience all on its own) 30 minutes later I asked if it was normal to feel pulsing in one of my teeth. She said she didn't know. I should have got up and left then. How do you not know if something is normal or not when you are a dentist? After she started pulling teeth some were still very painful. I tried to motion that it hurt and her and the assistant just told me to settle down and it was just pressure. I have had teeth pulled before, I know the difference between pressure and pain. Halfway through I was in tears and wanted to be done. She just kept going and was berating me the whole time and at some point said she could have referred me to an oral su

I went to Brookside because at the time they were the ONLY ones accepting Medi-cal. The first visit was terse but after that she was great and kind . She was very concerned about my dental health. I like her. She is a sweetie. I am sorry about the others that reviewed here . I hope that you find a dentist that you can trust. BTW I have been to other dentists before so I am no novice. She is just stating out on her own. She is the only dentist in her shop. No partners. The equipment is used but works and is well cared for.. If you want a fancy dentist with twillight sleep and music over ear phone this isn't your place. She can do more things but it will cost you. I wish you all the best

The dental assistants are very sweet… but the doctors style is very very old school…. And slightly painful the doctor seemed careless and annoyed and super rough for why? I have not been back since but it honestly still haunts me and when I was trying to communicate it didn’t feel numb or it was painful I was just told that I just haven’t been to the dentist in awhile.. also I sat there for 3 hours just to get one extraction done that was already super broken.. so long story short I have been going to tribal health and have had a lot of work done and no pain and the compassion they have is amazing. I’m not one to complain but sheesh… bad experience hope better for others. Maybe if you need a veneer or crown I guess it’s the place but a dentist office for pain do not go.
