Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital - University Campus

PLEASE BEWARE THEY WONT KEEP YOU INFORMED AND ITS NEVER DISCUSSED THAT YOU PAY FOR TRANSPORT WHEN YOU LEAVE UNTIL TWO DAYS BEFORE… THEY EXPECT YOU TO COME UP WITH 1,000! AT DISCHARGE!!! They say my mom can’t be rehabbed in the noted but want you to find a place to move her. I would NOT recommend Brooks. My Mom had a stroke and they are suppose to be th best stroke place and hospital. Before my mom was sent here from St. Vincent they knew my mom wasn’t able to use her left side and she Wes loosing blood that they thought was from blood thinners. I know how facilities work and I asked them before she went there if they could handle that because I don’t want her moved again. They promised up to 100 days help to get her better and after one week they were trying to move her. Acting like they

My husband was transferred there from Memorial. Although his injury was far less than most individuals cared for at that facility have, the therapists were amazing and the facility was quite nice. With our experience, I don't recommend it around holiday times since different medical staff handle issues and any issues require longer to be addressed. The nursing staff/administration tried to address problems promptly and the only administrator I spoke with followed thru promptly.

Can’t say enough of how professional and knowledgeable all the therapists are here. I’ve had knee, hip and now shoulder rehab from surgeries and each time the care has been excellent. From Steve, Regis Anita and now Felix the work has been awesome. Even the floater, Meghan was great! Highly recommend to get back to what you love to do best.

This hospital was amazing. My family is truly grateful for the compassion and efforts they provided to us during our stay there. My fiance was inpatient and they made us feel like family from day 1. Their doctors are the best hands down and the therapy team. Because of them they have given my husband a second chance at life. I would recommend them to ANYONE and EVERYONE! I'm blown away by the skills and resources they have. They care about their patients and it shows tremendously! Thank you Brooks for not only accepting us in but sticking with us during our journey. Forever grateful!!

The Rehab operation is Outstanding. Thank you Brooks. Unfortunately the Cafeteria & the Cafeteria Staff is so Poor with the Quality of Food the Cooks need a Complete Overhaul on the Standards that they Exhibit. Unfortunately you can’t good a Good Breakfast or a good Sandwich, precooked burgers, the Cooking Staff is RUDE !! Especially the Cook that has been there way Too long He displays Poor customer service. We rather eat someplace else’s before having to Deal with his RUDENESS & the Poor Quality of food he provides. No thanks. Please keep up the Great Job with all your Rehab that your team provides. The Rehabilitation is the BEST!!! Cafeteria staff & Food AWFUL!
