This is my fourth visit to One Stop Dental (1645 Ralph Ave.). During my first visit, I arrived more than thirty minutes early and waited an hour and a half without ever being seen. I eventually left. During my second visit, I again arrived early and was finally seen an hour after my scheduled time. X-rays were taken, and I was then told the doctor was not in. I was informed I would need to return because only that doctor could perform the work I needed (a root canal and treatment for an infection). During my third visit, I arrived early once more. After waiting an additional hour past my appointment time, I approached the front desk and was finally called back. Is this office a scam? I was recommended by my dentist for a root canal and was told this office performs it and accepts my insurance. They scheduled appointment right away. I waited for 2 hours before I was seen (there were others in the office that reported over 3 hour wait!). They took some X rays and I was told that a root canal wasn’t needed but only a filling. I asked for a report of their recommendation for my dentist. I was told it would be emailed to my dentist. After over 2 weeks and numerous calls following up, I got a call from a “no caller ID” phone number. The guy introduced himself as the dentist and proceeded to inform me that he doesn’t write reports. The D.D.S. is good However, there is a concern with the ofc management. First there is an incorrect phone number listed here on google maps, & no email, also it is a challenge to get the manager on the phone or to return a call. Reception hung up the phone on me when I asked to have the last name of the mgr. that led me into believing I would be paying for bone grafting only which is what my Ins. doesn't cover. Seems they never did talk speak to my Ins. Had me sign up with a loan company to pay the entirety of a procedure. They did all of this while Im in pain & already sitting in the chair. Now I've been placed into a position, while living on a fixed income to pay $ 2,285.02 Dollars, when my insurance covers the procedure 100%, just not grafting.
