Brookdale University Hospital & Medical Center:The Department of Psychiatry

I had an appointment with a transportation service for my father's doctor visit. They were supposed to pick him up at 7:00 AM, but no one showed up, and they did not answer the phone either. As a result, he was unable to attend his doctor's appointment due to this unreliable company. They are charging Medicaid without providing the service.

Why is this hospital still opened??? I give it one star cause they don't give you the option to give it a "ZERO"

Took my mother in law for surgery and from the VERY beginning, from the security guard at the main door all the way to the recovery room, people were helpful, polite, and pleasant. I was very pleased with the attention given at this hospital.

Holy ish this is awful, it's extremely hot, humidity at its highest, and that's outside!!! You would think any emt, police or DOCTORS! would get someone to turn on the central air conditioning, and to make matters worse in the CHC section all but 3 elevators work. Picture this: you pass out and get a stroke or a heat stroke, WHILE WAITING TO BE CALLED BY A NEUROLOGIST!!! Or if you've had a heart attack while WAITING TO SEE A CARDIOLOGIST!!! you see the irony of that? This place can be added to a verse of Billy Joel's "Blond Over Blues".

Hey the workers over in the psychiatric ward are not that professional and they’re on their phones way too much and leaning on the wall not to mention the group activities that i participated in weren’t enough, I think we need more activities as well as a place for patients to go for nature walk, I was in that Facility for 16 days and it was horrible.I also think It needs hygiene patrol/police for some of the patients not to mention a team of doctors approached me to help me but it felt very disoriented so we need more structure as a team in the facility and a park ,a park so patiencecould go for a walk and get fresh air have some outside activities inside the building and next time I would love if I could be debriefed on how long I would be staying here and the rules on how long I coul
