Doctor Salvatore is AMAZING as is Doctor Lyon’s. That’s where this positive review ends. I have been coming here for 3+ years. The admin and scheduling staff are rude and do not return phone calls. I have tried on five different occasions to schedule an appointment since December 2025. Once I was told in person they would call me, they never did. I called and left a voicemail, it was never returned. I finally got someone on the phone, they said they scheduled me an appointment and I’d receive a confirmation text, I never did. I left a voicemail last week, never received a call back. I booked an appointment last week and it was declined with no call from Brighter Dental. It seems as other patients have stated that this is their normal.

I wish I could leave zero stars. My husband recently had a heinous experience getting a crown there. It involved MANY appointments due to their failures, with hours waiting each time. Then he went elsewhere for a cleaning (because after that saga we wouldn’t send our worst enemy there) and the new place (Elite Dental- highly recommend) was appalled at his crown and ended up redoing it after all that. Criminal. Absolutely horrible place with horrible and rude staff, terrible organization and service, and incompetent practitioners.

Kind of surprised at some of these 1 stars, but I'll share my experience. I had my Invisalign performed and completed with Dr Salvatore and 4 crowns afterwards to turn my crooked teeth into a smile I was proud of! I had a bad experience BEFORE going to Brighter Dental at another local Ortho that did, in fact, bait and switch me, so I was cautious to say the least. Working with Dr Salvatore, all my questions were answered, the plan was detailed to a 'T', and the outcome was great! They worked with me on payments and my teeth are still amazing 3 years later. Great staff, great passion, and great results.

They will close the office at the last minute so be prepared for cancellations. I made an appointment and called two days in advance to confirm that they will be open (which they did). One day before, I get a call from them saying they decided to close the office. I've had an issue with their North Brunswick office as well confirming an appointment and changing it without my notice.

Dr. Patricia Lyons is absolutely THE best dentist! She is extremely skilled, incredibly knowledgeable and truly cares about her patients. I've been to a number of dentists in the past and haven't always had best experience. But Dr. Lyons always makes me feel completely comfortable, provides me with a pain free experience and clearly maps out the options for my future care. Whenever I leave their office, I always know that I've received the best treatment and I am in the very best hands. Thank you Dr. Lyons being the best and for being the best at what you do! Brighter Dental is lucky to have you!!
