My daughter is 2 and today was her first ever dentist visit. Staff was friendly and considerate: her hygienist was fun and sang during her cleaning. They have toys in the lobby along with a table for coloring which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend.

We had a great first visit at APD-York! My daughter loved the play area and the space felt very inviting and kid friendly. The staff were so kind and welcoming and made it a great experience!

I want to begin by saying that the office staff was absolutely wonderful—patient, kind, and supportive both before and after our visit. I was genuinely excited to bring my 6-year-old to her appointment. When we were called back, I immediately informed the doctor that my daughter is on the spectrum. At first, he seemed understanding. When she became scared and started to cry, he decided it was best not to proceed with the cleaning because she was overwhelmed—which I can somewhat understand. However, his demeanor changed noticeably after that. The visit felt rushed and impersonal, not the kind of experience I was expecting. He then suggested we return every three months to reduce what he referred to as “bad behavior.” I was taken aback by that comment. A frightened child crying—especially

Today was my son’s first time here and everyone was AMAZING! The lady who did my son’s cleaning knew he was nervous and talked him through the whole process. Dr was very nice as well! We all loved all the Lego themes! So glad we found APD!!

My daughter had her first visit yesterday. She was nervous and told me “this isn’t my dentist” as we had to switch due to insurance. They were extremely patient with her even though she was stubborn. We return on the 28th. Highly recommend them.
