The reception staff are not culturally aware and were extremely insensitive, particularly toward new patients who may need additional assistance navigating care. This was my mother’s first visit, and the manner in which she was treated was deeply insulting and unacceptable. This experience has further discouraging us from coming back! I however, strongly encourage management to provide staff with proper training in cultural competence and respectful patient interaction.
