The scheduling process and the care at the surgery center were excellent. However, my post-operative experience with Dr. Tyler and his team was very disappointing. When I developed complications, none of my follow-up calls were returned, and I ultimately had to seek care through urgent care and my primary provider instead of my surgical team. Dr. Tyler’s nurse, Jennifer, minimized my pain, pushed my appointment back, and showed little compassion during a time when I genuinely needed support. When I finally saw Dr. Tyler, he leaned back against the counter, showed no empathy, and did not meaningfully address my concerns. He told me not to put anything else on the wound and explained that he had cut through deep tissue and nerves, which could slow healing, yet still cleared me to return to

Dr. Tyler is the best. He took the time to go over key aspects of the surgery he performed on me earlier in the month, what to expect going forward, and when I’ll be able to resume certain activities. I appreciate his expertise, professionalism, and confidence.

2 key points that stand out, 1 - Dr Tyler’s attention to detail, he noticed a small incision in my stomach from a surgery when I was a toddler, I didn’t mention it in the survey since it was so long ago, he made sure to work around that area. 2 - the follow up appointment was very helpful to understand what took place in the surgery, the 3-D screen with finger tip drawing is a great tool for Dr Tyler to use in explaining the surgery.

Dr Tyler and his nurse were excellent at explaining things and didn't move on until he made sure you understood. The care was handled with patience and thoughtfulness. I'm glad that I was directed to him and his office. Thank you Dr Tyler and staff.
