Review of Boynton Dental – Bronx, New York On Saturday,the 14th of February 2026 I visited Boynton Dental to have mild tooth pain evaluated. X-rays were taken and I was seated for examination. The assistant prepared the instruments. When the dentist entered, he asked what brought me in. I explained I was there because of tooth pain. Without conducting an oral examination or looking inside my mouth, the dentist stated he was referring me to oral surgery to remove four teeth. There was no visual exam, no probing, no discussion of alternative treatment options, and no diagnostic explanation. I would rate this facility extremely poorly due to my ongoing difficulty in obtaining an appointment. For the past year and a half, I have repeatedly called in an effort to schedule a visit. On most occasions, the phone rings continuously with no answer. When calls are answered, I am often directed to voicemail without resolution. Additionally, when I have attempted to ask for clarification regarding appointment availability or the repeated issues with phone access, my calls have been abruptly disconnected. I understand that working in a high-demand community setting can be challenging. However, consistent access to care and professional communication are fundamental expectations in any healthcare environment. I’ve been going to this dental office for over 20 years, and I can’t say enough good things about them. The staff is always friendly, professional, and welcoming, and they truly make you feel comfortable every visit.
