Bourne Manor Extended Care

My mom stayed at Bourne Manor for two weeks after surgery. The nurses, aides, and doctor were very attentive and caring throughout her recovery. We truly appreciated the compassion they showed her. Some of the residents were also very kind and helped her order coffee and meals, which meant a lot. The only downside was that the food could use some improvement, but overall we are grateful for the care she received.

I highly recommend Bourne Manor they have best and friendliest staff. The nurses are absolutely attentive and knowledgeable and take great care of patients. The first floor staffing are just incredible anything you need or questions you may have they are very quick to respond and help. This is the second time my loved one has been in care at Bourne Manor and she could not be happier with the CNA, Dr's , Nurses and even the food she raves about being excellent.

Visiting this facility was deeply upsetting. The overall atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming, and the building itself had a strong, unpleasant odor that immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and care. When we arrived, the nurse attending my family member didn’t even acknowledge us… no hello, no eye contact. Later, when I tried to leave unopened candy and cookies at the front desk for staff or residents, I had to say “excuse me” MULTIPLE times before the nurse even looked at me. She then simply nodded and walked away without saying a word, leaving me to place the items on the counter myself. This is a nursing home. Families come here already carrying grief and worry. I would highly recommend you NEVER send your loved ones to this facility or any connected to them. My uncle was here they never took care of him correctly, never got his medical appointments or wound care set. Swore at him and verbally abused him and his roommate. Didn't clean him or his bed. The list goes on and on of how negligent the entire place is. Its only care is money not the people they need to take care of its disgusting and upsetting how poorly they treat your loved ones.

They were responsive, informative, and made the entire process seamless, which was a relief after struggling to get responses from other rehabs.
