Boston Children's Peabody

We have been regularly seeing specialists at this location since my twins were born 2.5 years ago. (Barbara Marinaccio and Dr. El-Hawary.) We also get all their bloodwork done here for their pediatrician. We are so pleased with the care we receive! My son got his blood drawn today from Carlos who was an exemplary phlebotomist—just so kind and personable, making my son so comfortable. Highly recommend.

I left the Pulmonology office extremely disappointed and upset with how my daughter and I were treated. From the moment we checked in, the experience was uncomfortable. The man at the front desk was unfriendly and made me feel unwelcome. The nurse who took my daughter back for vitals was kind and compassionate — she was the only positive part of the visit. Unfortunately, once we were placed in the room, things quickly went downhill again. I understand my daughter’s behavior can be challenging — she’s three years old, has an IEP, and struggles in unfamiliar situations — but Dr. Lystra Hayden’s reaction made everything harder. She mispronounced my daughter’s name twice, and when I politely corrected her, she simply said “oh” in a dismissive way, which completely took me by surprise. I was

Great Hospital. Staff - Doctors, Nurses, front desk workers, etc., very compassionate, listen to what you have to say and advise the best they can. They are patient and show empathy. The place is clean and parking in the main garage is free. I highly recommend this hospital.

The nurses/doctors are all very nice and capable. Although, in my opinion, they've been swift to dismiss my questions/opinions which, can be a bit of a red flag in this climate. The rest of the staff is a lacking to be honest. It seems as if there is a giant lack of effort to communicate amongst the departments and to their guests. You have to fight to get their attention and when you do it's lackluster at best. I do hope to be pleasantly surprised at our next visit.

We had the best experience at the lab for bloodwork! The phlebotomist was experienced and very nice to our baby. The clinic is super clean, beautiful and kid friendly. We highly recommend
