Bosede Afolabi

T Dr. Afolabe maimed me with a pacemaker. I got a horrible infection. Took over a month to heal. I woke up during the implantation. Dr. Afolabe...while I was infected and sore...pumped 17 staples into the wound with no lidocaine, only injecting me with lidocaine AFTER she stapled me. I actually cried and she taunted me for it. I now have extra skin by my armpit that resembles the female anatomy and a horrible scar. I am not her only patient with these same, exact complaints. There are more than a few here in Ocala.

I had an ablation and ended up in ICU for two days. The wall of my heart was hit which caused fluid to build up in my heart, had to have an emergency drain put in that came out of my stomach. My heart had to be shocked three times. No report for TWO weeks and even the hospital was trying to cover up what had happened thinking there could be a possible lawsuit? This doctor is deceitful and not honest. The first sentence on her report TWO weeks later was: “everything was explained to me and my husband at bedside of what could happen”. Lie… nothing was explained right before my surgery, my husband wasn’t even in the room before I went in. She gave me info in her office to read weeks before. I’m with a new electrophysiologist who has done ablations for 20 years and she has never had anything l

The doctor was very informative and she told me what I needed to do to be able to have an ablation or this workman implant and I was quite pleased with it. And I'm going to continue under her care. Because I feel I will get good results.Dee Packar

Dr Afolabi was/is very caring and compassionate and gave me all the time I needed to ask questions and her answers were very succinct.
