The ER was waiting for me. Had severe back pain . I saw Dr. Escaza. He was so nice. Had excellent bedside manner. The nurses were really nice as well. I appreciate their professionalism and kindness . The waiting room was clean and tidy as well as the ER rooms!!!

My family’s experience during pregnancy care and delivery here was deeply mixed. There were individual caregivers who were exceptional, but the overall system and process left us disappointed and, frankly, shaken. During high-risk screenings, we raised specific concerns about potential complications. Rather than feeling heard and evaluated in a focused way, the process felt standardized and procedural. We were given strong reassurance that certain conditions were not present, only to discover immediately after birth that one of those exact conditions was, in fact, present. Communication during follow-up screenings was also confusing. Important findings were shared casually and without context. We were moved through additional monitoring without clear explanation of what was being evaluat

I had to take my dad for an endoscopy a few days ago. The process was easy. They called me on the phone to set it up. The lady was so nice and thorough. When we got there to register the staff was amazing, kind and again thorough. The even had a harp player in the lobby. We went back to do the procedure they made my and I feel right at home. They were so friendly and the whole experience was done in a timely manor. I could not asked for a better experience. Thank you to all involved in our journey at roper hospital.

I recently had to go to the emergency room for emergency surgery, and I truly couldn’t have been more impressed with the care I received. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. You can genuinely see the compassion they have for the people they care for in the emergency department. The ultrasound staff was wonderful as well. I’m very grateful for how attentive and supportive everyone was during such a stressful situation.

My experience during my overnight stay after surgery and my first at St. Francis Hospital in West Ashley was simply, outstanding. The level of care I received top level. I during my stay I had 3 nurses based on the shift changes, but the quality of care and attention never faltered. Each of these ladies made me feel like I was their only patient. They took the time to show my home care team how to change bandages & empty drainage tubes. They were outstanding.
