I had an outpatient procedure done today at the main surgery center and had a great experience. Nurse Jade was incredible and patiently helped me through an anxiety attack and made me feel better about the entire process. Dr. Wheeler took the time to answer my pre op questions and helped ease my anxiety and was wonderful as always. Dr Shah was very professional and friendly and Dr. Tim (anesthesia)was wonderful as well. Dr. Tim kept me informed of everything going on and kept reassuring me of how great I was doing which helped ease my anxiety. Nurse Erin in recovery was amazing as well. I had never had any type of surgical procedure done before, and the kindness, patience and professionalism shown by everyone I encountered today made the world of difference to me during my experience.

I recently had a scheduled c-section here and I can’t express my gratitude and praise enough. During what can be a scary procedure, the team made me feel extremely comfortable and safe. I was well taken care of during the three days/two nights of recovery with every nurse and doctor constantly checking on me and baby and providing friendly and personable bedside manner. I would 10000% recommend this hospital and am so happy with my decision to have my baby here.

My surgeon and nurses were incredibly professional and had excellent listening skills. They took great care of my needs. However, the anesthesiologist was not at all competent. Despite having it charted that I was allergic to Fentanyl, he administered the drug anyway. When I woke up, i overheard him telling his colleagues he had given it to me anyway and that I was fine. As a result, my blood pressure remained high for several days, leading to an extended hospital stay and various allergic reactions.

Not that I wanted to go to the hospital nor be admitted, my illness made it necessary that I was admitted and treated at Bon Secure Memorial Trgional Hospital. I found that the LONs along with the RNs worked very well together. They were eager to assist one another. And they taking care of the patient was the best of care received. For instance, I had pressed the call button, and although Lead Nurse Kelly, of Oncology, was at end of shift, going home, he immediately came to my room to answer my call. My illness required blood transfusion and Lead Nurse Kelly, did all I he proper procedures assisting the area i was assigned. Even the Student Nurses would come in to check in on me; asking if I needed water or juice; etc. I want to thank the doctors who attended to me and provide such great c

The RN / Nurses were great!!!!!! The problems we had was having to stay an extra day because the echo test didn’t get read and that the urine sample came back abnormal and no medicine was prescribed for it. We had to call our primary care doctor after we got home to get a prescription send in. 2/3 day after we came to the emergency room. Doesn’t seem right.
