I recommend not going anywhere near these offices. I have a similiar review regarding the doctor I saw seemed very good, but it felt like she was on a timer and it was going to explode if she took a moment longer with me. When I look at Dr. Buka's appointment schedule, it says 45 available 10 minute increments. The AMA needs to start protecting patients even if a company is owned privately. How can you possible have a good check up in 10 minutes. Not everyone is looking to do comestic surgery or be sold products. If something falls under medical it needs regulations wheter owned privately or publically or is a non for profit. Ridiculousness.

The doctors in my experience are great, but I routinely get prescriptions messed up, and when I ask for some follow up from the front office I never get it. I did 3 calls yesterday with zero follow up. It's a shame because the office and the doctors are fantastic

I came in for a wart on my toe. Very rude “Dr”. She cut it out and was very annoyed when I flinched. She was quick. Didn’t explain anything. No aftercare just that I should apply a cream she prescribed and keep it covered. It blew up. I can’t walk. Became red swollen and puffy. I went back today, 2 days later only to be told that I can’t be seen cuz insurance won’t cover. When I opened my mouth they allowed me to be seen. I was told the cream makes blisters and I shouldn’t have put it on. I came home to see my card was charged. Zero apology. Zero accountability. Rude front desk. Don’t go. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before. Update. 3 weeks later my cc was charged $150. I wasn’t there. I called they said I need to call billing. I called billing they said they don’t have yet my acc

Avoid COBBLE HILL DERMATOLOGY. My wife went in for a routine annual exam - first time with this practice - and was charged $1,200. An MD never even saw my wife. Only a Physician Assistant. We were told insurance would cover the removal of two skin tags. Invoice made ZERO sense and provided no detail of the procedures administered or of the check up. Only the cost. Billing admitted to me they charge new patients more on the first visit.

First -- I did not see Dr. Buka, but one of his many associates who are billed under the same name, at the Greenpoint office. I had a bad experience here in the office and especially with the billing practice. While I was waiting for my appointment, the receptionist was having a personal conversation on speaker phone, very loudly. When I saw the doctor, he spent a very brief amount of time and told me they don't handle the issue there and referred me out. Since it's was basically a non-visit, only a referral, I asked if I would be charged and he said no. I left, only to find out that I was indeed billed. I have made numerous phone calls to get this corrected, and the bill was never reversed. I paid the bill but will never go there again and I do not recommend.
