I've had several appointments with Dr Thompson over the past 16 months. All the staff have always been very kind and professional every time I've been there, Dr Thompson included. I don't usually post reviews, but happened to come across some very negative ones about the staff and Dr Thompson and that's why I decided to comment. After my first visit there I told several people I think it may be the nicest staff in an Dr's office I've ever encountered from start to finish. Thank you Dr Thompson and all staff for being so very kind 😊

I just wanted to share a fantastic experience I had at bluegrass retina consultants. Dr Thompson is one of the best doctors I have ever known. I had to get steroid implants via injection behind my eye. I was a bit nervous. It's not the most pleasant procedure. But she and her staff did a great job and made me feel comfortable and happy. Thank you Dr Thompson and staff.

The wait times are miserable. All the staff are incredibly rude, and have no kindness towards you whatsoever. They drop paperwork in front of you, and leave the room for another 3 hours, then make the actual exam time 5 minutes. Dr Thompson barely acts as if she knows what she’s speaking about and is incredibly pushy. Wouldn’t recommend going here if you have any say about it.

Their offices have consistently tried to change my scheduled appointments over and over again and created problems for me at work having to reschedule my time off. My last visit was a total disaster. I was there for an injection for diabetic retinopathy and I have a VERY hard time with keeping my eyes open for anything. I've had a few of these procedures done and managed to get through them before but not without a lot of struggle. This time, I absolutely could not get through it and Dr. Thompson simply stopped and never finished the procedure, telling me to talk to my primary physician about getting a stronger anti-anxiety drug to take. Everyone else at the offices are very kind but Dr. Thompson's unprofessional and uncaring attitude has ensured that I won't return and will look for a new

As a medicaide recipient I have had nothing but billing issues from Dr Thompsons staff I was even sent over into collections for their ignorance. Dr Thompson is a very pushy doctor who does not understand the words no or that you are not comfortable with having her do a procedure, she is very high strung and not a good people person . I would give this place a negative star review if I was able . This was not a pleasant experience in any way and being put into collections for their negligence is inexcusable
