Blue Palms Health and Rehab of Daytona

I’ve only been here about 2. Weeks but pleased with the care. The therapists are great and make me work -have to learn to walk!l. Food is ok - too much pasta.

My brother is there recovering from a stroke. The staff has been kind and very caring towards him. The Christian atmosphere is prevailing and most welcome and comforting to me . I sleep better now.

Blue Palms Health and Rehab of Daytona is truly exceptional! The staff is compassionate, attentive, and professional. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-managed. My loved one received outstanding care and support throughout their stay. I highly recommend Blue Palms to anyone looking for quality rehabilitation and long-term care in a warm and caring environment.

Went to visit my dad upon arrival the weekend nurses need a huge attitude change there’s no welcoming or friendliness in the place as soon as you walk in past the front desk lady upfront was welcoming the nurses at the station wouldn’t even look up when I was asking a question and just shook it off I definitely didn’t feel comfortable in there myself I can only imagine how the residents must feel with some of the nurses I encountered in just my second visit ! Please be more involved in your staff choice especially caring for the disabled and elderly you can tell who wants a check and who truly cares!

At first you think this place needs an update and you're right. However, after several horrible experiences with our loved one I could not believe the difference in the quality of care.We showed up without notice and unsure of what to expect.. Our loved one was clean, relaxed and happy. What a relief. The first thing the staff asked was why she didn't have clothes and who was responsible for her. In the transfer from the other horrible facility no one had brought her clothes. The staff is patient and kind to the residents there. As hard as it is with the various brain injuries and levels of dementia etc. They are so nice and seem to care about providing some quality of life to the residents. They do not rotate the staff or appear to "contract" out so the staff is familiar with the resident
