Blue Cross Animal Hospital

We had scheduled an appointment about a month in advance as that was the earliest we could be seen. Unfortunately our dogs dental health took a turn and she had to have dental surgery as soon as possible at a different vet. Seeing as her appointment at blue Cross was 2 weeks post op, we decided to still bring her in for her appointment for a checkup. We arrived on time, but as these things go, we had to wait about 45 mins to be seen. I believe we were seen by Dr. Sandoval. Everyone in the office was very kind and attentive. They answered all our questions and concerns and checked to make sure was recovering from her surgery. Very confident in their abilities and would recommend them to any pet owners. They also have a donation website to help pay for vet visits and surgeries.

Inexpensive pet spay or neuter and vaccinations. I got my dog spayed over here and when I got her back she had pee all over her back legs and they did not wipe her down. So when I put her in my truck it just smelled like pee really badly and I had nothing to wipe her down with. I had already paid for my deposit for my cat getting neutered and he had the same thing pee all over his back legs and they did not wipe him or try to clean him and it was very stinky and I wish they would care a little bit more so they would wipe the the animals coming out of surgery. I understand accidents happen but the fact that it happened two times in a row was very upsetting!

Do not take your pet here if they’re very sick or it’s an emergency! Whether it’s your family pet friend of a community pet friend they will not pass waiting! Even if it’s a walk in & you wait for hours! You will be given a number & a form to fill for contact infos when you’re turn comes! It took 4 hours for a call! One of the kittens died while we were waiting! Still they didn’t see the other one & was told it probably had some illness I never heard of that was untreatable there. Then they gave me an address & a number for emergency! I ended up going there. The same thing happened. At the reception the guy tells me the kitten probably has an illness like aids!!!! But then another nurse said it was larvae/toxoplasmosis. That was not was Blue cross assumed! We were sent both the kitten & I

I love this vet. I drive down from Bakersfield just for this hospital because the prices are unmatched. They’ve taken great care of my dog and I didn’t cry at the bill when he got several teeth extracted. I do have to get there at sunrise if I want to be seen as a walk-in which is tough when I live so far but it’s absolutely worth it! I’ll never go anywhere else.

Came in to drop off my cat to get neuterd today, and expected a well done surgery like other places. I got called that he was ready and picked him up, everything looked and seemed normal at first, since i had previous experience in receiving other pets for the same procedure from another place. But, as I got home, I noticed the area where they performed on him, and I was taken aback as they not only left the pouch where they removed his testis, but they sealed his surgical wound with some kind of glue? And by the looks of it, it looks like it should have been stitched up, rather than glued shut. Also it looks like they damaged his pouch. Would've preferred to take him to the Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A. as they get the job done better than Blue Cross Animal Hospital. No pet shou
