Blowing Rock Plus Urgent Care

I came here about two weeks ago with my girlfriend who was feeling very ill and needed to be checked out. Once we got to this place, we went to the front office where the receptionist was rude and unprofessional. We also had to wait around an hour while there was only one other patient. Once we finally got appointed to the nurse, the process was going well and she was nice for the most part but my girlfriend's first language isn't English and instead of asking me the questions she consistently asked her the same question over and over and got ruder each time. She took a COVID, Flu, and Strep throat test in which my girlfriend had already tested negative for prior to the visit. After 15 minutes of waiting, the doctor came in and was extremely unprofessional and rude. He even scoffed after a

First visit for my husband's illness. The facility is easy to find on 321/Valley Bld. There was only a short wait & the intake was quick & pleasant. The medical staff both Brandy (Cordell) & David Fair (DJ) were excellent. DJ took his time to listen & explain all aspects of his assessment & prescribed treatments. When needed, we will definitely return for the outstanding care we received, as well as recommend it to others. Thank you.

The day before Thanksgiving my daughter isn't feeling good. We are from out of state anddidn't really know what to do. The FNP, DJ was so kind and funny. He was prompt and phoned in a prescription before we even left. Thank you for taking care of my girl!

Fantastic experience from the time I called to check on wait times (luckily, no wait for me), to the time I walked out. Receptionist is super kind & friendly, Andrea the radiology tech (& medical assistant) was personable, & the provider Dr. D.J. Fair (NP) really took the time to listen & consult. He was so thorough, making sure to cover all the bases. You can tell they truly care about patients here! highly recommend

My wife and I were visiting for a weekend trip and I was battling a sinus infection. Dr. DJ and the rest of the staff were friendly and very thorough to make sure I was getting the best care possible. I was able to get a shot and some antibiotics to be able to feel better and enjoy dinner with my wife that same evening. Great place - thank you so much!
