Bloomington Smiles Dentistry

I was very impressed with Bloomington Smiles Dental. Brand new to them at first apprehensive. Quickly their staff was friendly and attentive. Most impressive was their technology being more advanced than my previous dentistry. Leaving town soon I needed a crown. They X-rayed, analyzed and quoted me a price. It was important to get this done that day. 3 hrs. later I was good to go. Can’t say enough about my experience. Thank you Dr. Al-Khatib and Morgan! along with the whole staff at Bloomington Smiles Dental!

love the environment, the staff truly cares about your needs and concerns (even when it comes to pricing!) and I always feel so so so well taken care of when I visit! Shoutout to Dr Houck too for his amazing care and easy explanation of what needs to be done to keep this smile healthy!

This was a horrible experience. If I could give a 0 star I would. Both my kids went here- for a normal cleaning exam-it took over 2 hours because the person kept leaving. They talked/coerced my 1 kid into getting flouride even though it wasn’t covered. They gave me a bill-paid in full but then kept billing me for more and more even 5 mos after. I had to call 4 times to have them send me a referral. Had to fill cavities-was unpleasant and not pain free. Will NOT be back and I do NOT recommend. Also-I did not know this until after-this is a national chain and it sure felt like.

Just had the best first experience at Bloomington Smiles Dentistry! I saw Dr. Al-Khatib for my New patient exam and she made me feel completely comfortable and welcome :) Usually I feel anxious about dental appointments, but not here! I found my new home and I will be a patient for life! 💙

TL;DR: When in to get something looked at, They quick recommended and Started a treatment same-day but had to wait a month for it to be completed. Didn't have clear itemized costs or time to consider options. After canceling remaining work, was charged $1,400 for just the "emergency consultation" (after insurance). Was not made clear that this was an emergency visit when setting up appointment. Billing was impossible to reach. Don't be like me, get everything in clear writing, don't let them rush you to start until you know 100% the pros and cons of all your options with cost.
