BJC Medical Group Convenient Care at Bethalto

I've been coming to this office when my children get sick.Because unfortunately , it is extremely hard to get into any of the doctor's offices while you're sick. My daughter came in with ear pain and thorough honestly , we thought she had an ear infection and strap. So she did have fluid behind the ear for sure, the strap flew COVID all those tests came back negative. They sent a culture in to do a deeper dive into the strap cause that was pretty sure that's what she had.But in the meantime , the doctor gave her three days worth of antibiotic. Yes, she is feeling better from the strap.However, her ears are still hurting her face is swollen.And when I called in to let them know she is still having these issues.Nobody's contact me to let me know if they're going to give her more antibiotic.

Took my daughter to the BJC convenient care in Bethalto, IL yesterday and I was very happy with her care. I have been to other urgent cares and have never had the type of service I had here. The NP did a full assessment on her. I thought she just had strep and after the NP took time to assess her she also had many symptoms of Pneumonia. My daughter was given a breathing treatment and assessed again. The NP took time to talk to us and figure out the best treatment plan for her. They ordered a chest xray. Then next day they called and followed up with is to make sure my daughter was feeling better. I am a nurse myself and i feel like when you go to urgent cares now they ask your symptoms as they are swabbing you and running you out the door. A full assessment is never obtained and so many p

First time visiting as I have been under the weather for a few weeks. The PCRs were nice and greeted me and were easily able to put me on the schedule. Kaylee took great care of me and prescribed medication and preventative care to follow. Highly recommend!

Upon my son coming into contact with poison oak I took him here for a visit and he was treated. When we arrived, we were told to preschedule. Today he is experiencing severe symptoms, we attempted to preschedule, and there were no visits online, so it directed me to call the office, the phone rang several times and with no answer. Very unsatisfied.

The staff was great. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The overall experience was a good one.
