Ditto on the review left by Jose 2 weeks ago. I had pretty much the same experience. I’m on a cancer medication that used to be filled by the Cleveland Clinic specialty pharmacy but Anthem made me change to BioPlus. It has been nothing but a headache and what happened this past week tipped the boat. I usually get called when it’s time to refill my medication but this past time I didn’t get called so I called and found out I was out of refills. No one from BioPlus thought to call me to see if I wanted them to reach out to my doctor. BioPlus just put their head in the sand and left me hanging.CVS sends me a text to tell me I’m out of refills and would I like them to call my doctor. Common courtesy and good customer service. Long story short, after calling BioPlus this past week this past wee
Working with this pharmacy has been nothing short of a nightmare - use Carelon if at all possible. My insurance required me to switch to Bioplus and it's been a disaster. The company infrastructure, the individuals working there, just total incompetence which is pretty scary when relying on them to deliver life saving/altering medication. Most recent issue - my injectable medication used for a severe chronic illness was not delivered last week as scheduled (was supposed to arrive on Wednesday 1/28). When three days after the scheduled delivery date passed, I called Bioplus to find out where it was. It turns out through getting the tracking information and looking at the proof of delivery photo - UPS had dropped it at the wrong house. I discovered this while on the phone with the agent, s
I have had nothing but issues since my insurance switched me to bioplus in January. I’ve had more than a dozen conversations with different people at this pharmacy and it almost always leads to more problems. No one seems to communicate and even the multiple managers I talk to never call me back when they say they will. At one point I was reduced to crying so hard I could barely give them my account info. I began the process of getting my prescription in mid-January, getting my copay assistance up to date and the prescription sent in. On January 28th I received notice that my prescription was ready to schedule for shipment. A representative called me, let me know that a debit card was issued from the pharmaceutical company for my copay and that the balance was zero. We scheduled the shipm
I was recently changed from CarelonRX to BioPlus. So far it's been nothing but a disaster. I didn't realize how good my experience was with the previous pharmacy until now. Yesterday I called 6 times to make sure my medications where being filled and that everything was okay with my order. 5 out of the 6 people I talked where very confident that everything was okay and that I would get my pills the next day (today - as I don't have more pills left). The 6th person was so incompetent that he couldn't even find my account information. This morning, I called to make sure that my order was arriving later today, and the person I talked to told me "everything on your end was correct, unfortunately someone in our team just forgot to approve your order. I've just approved it and it will arrive t
I have had the absolute worst experience with Bioplus pharmacy and unfortunately they are the preferred speciality pharmacy through my insurance so I’m forced to use them. My prescription was originally sent to Bioplus Pharmacy on January 13, 2025. After two weeks of hearing nothing, I call the pharmacy and they say ‘we’ve tried to reach out to your doctor because the prescription is not complete.’ The technician could not tell me what was missing from the prescription, had an awful attitude and did not want to transfer me to a pharmacist. I finally was able to talk to a pharmacist and they said the prescription was ‘missing a signature.’ The doctor’s office told me they had sent a valid prescription THREE times and given a verbal order directly to the pharmacist and was assured the presc
