We are so happy with making the decision to take our son to southtown pediatrics. Our son was born at 28 weeks we spent 68 days in the NICU. So finding the right fit for us was important. We saw a provider before we made the switch and it just wasn't right for us. Our son has a lot of special care and after reading up on the providers at southtowns one provider really stood out to me. Gabby! She has experience in the picu. I thought let's try her. When we arrived the staff was so friendly and we didn't wait long to be seen. Gabby came in educated on our sons history and on his medications. She is attentive, kind, a great listener and answers all our questions. My daughter has been going to Big Tree Pediatrics since she was born and I couldn't be happier with my decision to have them as her primary. Dr. John Mulawka is the absolute best, the entire staff is amazing and always takes the best care of my daughter, as well as me being an 'overthink-everything' type of Mom.

Great drs office, my son went here up until he was 11 months and we moved out of state so sad I had to transfer drs . The man that seen him every time was very pleasant and helpful also the lady everybody is warm and welcoming accepting people of color .

I can’t say enough amazing things about Big tree rd pediatrics! We switched our kiddos here and I’m so happy we did. From the nurses Maria & Danielle , to the receptionist ( I think her name is Leann) while are very genuine, pleasant , and are so patient with my boys. I don’t ever feel rushed when I ask questions or voice my concerns. Sandra , the NP we see is just incredible! Her compassion and love for children is visible and she really treats my boys like her own ! She truly goes above and beyond. Every script , note, or paper work I needed has always been addressed in a timely fashion. I have never had to wait long to be seen and they are always very accommodating when I need a sick visit. I have never been spoken to so rudely as I was by Dr M. My son was born small, but healthy. He passed his birth weight within a week, so we were told we didn’t need another weight check and to come back for our one month appointment. At the appointment, I was told in a threatening manner by Sandra that my son was going to be diagnosed failure to thrive and hospitalized despite the fact that he had gained weight within normal range as described by the AAP. She told me that he should be getting more milk as per AAP guidelines of ounces per age. However, these recommendations are based on formula fed babies and my son is exclusively breastfeeding.
