Bethel Communities Management

I have had two experiences with Bethel. First with my father who was there from Fall of 2013 until he passed away in May of 2014. The staff was so caring, they came by at every meal and fed him because in the end he was unable to. They always checked on him. Kept us up to date as to how he was doing. The care he received there was excellent and our family is truly great fun to the staff that made his last few months comfortable. Thank you for going above and beyond. My second experience is more recent. I recently (Like last Monday) placed a wonderful close friend of mine who is like an aunt to me there for rehab. The staff has been attentive and made sure she is comfortable and receives the care she needs so she can get better. Out of precaution because she had been hospitalized w

My Grandma was a resident here for the last 2 years of her life. The staff was amazing. They treated her with respect and took care of her every need. She said she thought of them as family. The facility was extremely clean and very comfortable. We were not able to take of her at home and they made the last chapter of her life like she was home. A wonderful place.

My mother has been housed in this facility for over 5 years. Compared to the other facilities in the area they are very clean and well maintained. We advocate for her care and she does as well staying on top of the staff and facility management. In order to maintain any sort of adequate long term care you will need to do the same regardless of where you place your family member. The staff are helpful and understanding when treated with respect and common decency, try it and see what a difference it makes in a human beings attitude. Staffing is some times an issue due to call outs or weather. I can confirm that there are several 30 plus year staff members working for the facility that seem to think its is a good place to work and are treated fairly in their opinion. My mom was a resident at Bethel Nursing Home for about 4 years. She was on 1E with Bridget, Donna and Joanne . They took very good care of her and all of her needs. My mom was very easy going and they made sure that my mom was comfortable and had what she needed. Bridget was so amazing with my mom. My mom would smile when she walked into her room and the nights Bridget wasn’t there my mom would be sad. Bridget was there for my mom up until the end when my mom was put on 1W Bridget was the one that I went to get to help her and be with her Bridget is an awesome nurse and person!!!! We loved her!!!!!!!

I can't recommend this facility to any one. My mother has dementia and had to go into a nursing home after a stroke for rehab. There is not enough staff to properly care for the people there. My mom was not regularly bathed and would not eat, she would only drink. The nutritionist there told me that if I wanted her to get a protein shake, I should bring it to her myself, which I did. My mother also broke her hip there and I'll never know for sure if it could have been prevented. There are some good people that work there. The people that run that place should be ashamed of themselves. We moved my mom clear across the country and she's thriving there.
