BestMed Urgent Care - Salem

In my experience It’s a clean clinic, the staff was friendly and kind to me and my 3 children, they got us in and out supper fast with antibiotics sent to the pharmacy. I will definitely be going back when and if needed in the future! 100/10 highly recommend

First time patient. Love the online paperwork - easy to use and saves you time when you arrive at the office when you check in. Staff verified my pharmacy, which I appreciate (I had selected the wrong one online). They got me in on time and I was promptly seen. They were thorough and I felt unrushed. Everyone was friendly too! 😎

My experience with scheduling was generally smooth, and I appreciated being able to make appointments ahead of time. However, during my second visit, despite having an appointment, I waited over 20 minutes past my scheduled time to be seen. While the front office staff were polite, communication after my visit felt disorganized. When I called with questions about my prescriptions and to check in about results, I was transferred multiple times and left feeling like I was inconveniencing the staff simply by asking for clarification. When you’re not feeling well, clear and respectful communication makes a big difference. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel supported during those follow-up interactions.

Thank you for the Excellent service from Front desk staff & Dr. Spoke directly with the Dr on the phone for advice before coming in to an appointment. Easy to sign in. Filled out all the initial forms digitally on my own phone. Wait time was very reasonable. About 30 mins. Probably would have been quicker if I didn’t need to fill out the forms? Dr was kind & extremely helpful. On the road to recovery! For perspective, We had previously been to Salem health urgent care that same afternoon. Waited for our SCHEDULED appointment over 1.5hrs. Just to be dismissed by the old male Dr Buchanan who told my daughter to basically tough it out. Which she had been doing for 4weeks prior. I would NOT recommend Salem health urgent care, and especially that Dr!! Don’t waste your time. Go to best med!

I've had a couple health concerns with my baby, and was happy to find out that not only do they take my insurance, but they have always had a provider available who is able to see infants. With several other urgent care facilities, this was a set back. Not only was I able to get in same day both times, but the care was expectional and the staff is very friendly, professional, and helpful! Thankful for their help and good quality of care for my little one.
