Best Friends Animal Hospital

We have been twice, the first time was to get a litter of puppies health certificates, the second was to get the mama dog spayed. Both times the vet and the tech were extremely nice, helpful, answered all of our questions and seemed very knowledgeable. On top of that, they are reasonably priced. We are super happy to have found a vet for a sweet fur family.

My cat has behavioural issues, particularly at the vets. He’s a snuggle-bunny at home, but can have some play-induced biting, and suffers from stress-induced cystitis. Dr Gonzalez has been wonderful, kind, patient and was willing to keep him on the same medications that his prior vet had him on. The only issue I’ve ever had were things that the office couldn’t help, such as him falling ill while Dr G was on vacation, or having to wait for his rx diet to be in stock for a day or two because a delivery was delayed. My boy was labeled as fractious by his previous vet, but he trusts Dr Gonzalez, and hasn’t acted out there.

I've been going to best friends for about 20 years for multiple pets. Dr. Gonzalez has always been able to articulate things to me in a simple and easy to understand way. I always appreciate the way they make me feel like family whenever I show up no matter how much time has passed between visits. The techs here are very sweet and compassionate. I highly recommend this vet for their professionalism and bedside manner.

I spoke to the veterinarian today over the phone who confirmed that I received a letter in the mail and he stated verbatim "I do not think we are a good fit for you, you do not seem to be satisfied with how long we are opened on Saturdays, and there always seems to be an issue". I responded over the phone that it was their prerogative and their right but it was extremely bizarre for the following reasons. First, I am a very busy professional, and I am not always available, so Saturdays are the only times I can generally take my pets. I cannot force any establishment to work extra hours, but I have always made appointments consistent with the hours they are opened. Second, I have 5 cats, and yes there have been recent health issues with my cats. I did not think bringing my cats to be treate

Great vet and staff. I unfortunately had to put my pet Sugar to sleep because of his medical issues. Throughout everything they were understanding when I sometimes had to leave him there for his appointments and then pick him up after work. My cat was not the friendliest and was aggressive, I appreciate the vet still seeing him as most vets would turn him away for that reason.
