I have been a patient of this practice and expect reasonable access to care, communication, and respect for my time. Recently, I contacted the office regarding side effects from my blood pressure medication and was told I must come in for an appointment, even though this could likely have been handled by a simple phone call. When I also asked about discussing weight loss medication during the same visit, the front desk staff informed me that I could not address two issues in one appointment and would need to schedule — and pay for — a separate visit. This rigid policy feels unnecessary and more focused on billing than patient care. Dr. Carlson has been my doctor in Garland/Mesquite area over 25 years and I have no complaints. I now drive from Royse City to his office because I have confidence in Dr. Carlson's care and caregivers.

Had my Doctors appt today with Dd Carlson Everything went great as always very friendly wonderful people work there. Very pleasant atmosphere. Shot talk to takes the time to listen this means everything to me

Anytime I come here, I always come across someone that goes beyond their duty. This time it was lab technician Celia. She was calm and explained everything before the lab draw. Her lab draw skills were exceptional, probably one of the best (with least pain involved) I’ve experienced as I’m always a little uneasy while blood gets drawn. Her lab area is also filled with funny memes related to blood draw so it was a good distraction as well.

Dr Carlson has been my doctor for 20+ years. No complaints. He and his awesome staff take good care of me.
