I had a routine test done at my in-network primary care provider, and without my knowledge, my lab work was sent to ProPath. I then received a large, unexpected bill. My doctor’s office told me they couldn’t help and directed me to Justin Robinson at ProPath. I reached out repeatedly for three months with no response. When he finally replied, he told me the bill had already been sent to collections. Because ProPath ignored my attempts to resolve the issue, I now have a collections account on my credit report and a balance I shouldn’t owe. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience.

I received a bill on 4/11/25 for something that was done back on 08/2024. I called to find out what was the charge, and where are the results for such bill. A lady from a foreign country with a roaster, next to her work phone answered the call and after attempting 5 times to hear her I had to disconnect the call. What type of lab wait almost a year to sent a statement and why there is no explanation of this charge on such statement. Terrible business practice.

My dermatologist used Bernhardt Laboratories. I had never heard of them. This company uses a 3rd party billing service named Change Healthcare in South Carolina. I never received a bill from anyone. No pone call. Nothing!!! Instead I was sent to collections. This is ridiculous. I only gave 1 star as you have to give one to post the review.

Be sure to check your EOB before paying your bill. This company double billed and has owed me a refund for over 6 months. I paid my bill on 6/25/2018, it’s now 1/5/2019 and I still don’t have my check and every time I call now they say I’ll have it in 2 weeks. They clearly hope you forget about your refund and don’t care that they are stealing your money. Consumers beware.

This company has tripled billed me saying that this their final notice. I just checked my bank and I have already paid this bill now 3x. Be careful and check your bill.
