Bennett Pediatrics

I have been bringing my kiddos here since they were born and have had very positive experiences. They are flexible on vaccines. Because of scheduling, I almost always end up seeing the nurse practitioner and she is lovely! I have to give a special shout outs to Princess who has been a joy to work with and miss Shica who I just had the pleasure of scheduling with just today! Shica is the reason I’m coming and leaving this review because she is such a kind soul! Thank you all for an awesome experience :)

Review Update 9/16/25: I have to make a shout out to Shica, the office manager! She has been so diligent to help me with getting the resources I need for my son's medical needs. She and Dr. Bennett have been available to speak with me over the phone and provide the best counsel possible that has made a huge difference for my son having his medical needs met. When you leave a message for the office staff to call you back, they do call you back within 24 hours, which is so helpful for the needs of my son. Shica has even called me after hours on her own time to make sure my son was able to get what he needed. I have never met such a caring doctor and office staff. I feel they treat children as a priority and not a burden, and they really care about the needs of their patients. We love

Met Dr. Bennett at her Altamonte location for a meet and greet before baby is born because I was recommended to her by a friend that does not vaccinate and I will not be. I understand it’s a controversial topic but it is my choice as a parent. Even though I was sure and informed in my decisions, Dr. Bennett was extremely pushy and quite judgemental as far as vaccines go. Even to go as far as to say “would you rather your baby bleed to death” without vitamin K, saying a passive statement that she believes in God too and that she “has no piercings or tattoos” while looking at mine (like what’s the point of this if not judging), as well as saying delayed cord clamping for too long can be bad for the baby, and that if our baby got sick vs a vaccinated one, she would do more tests/hospital visi

As much as I love Dr. Bennett and Ms. Brittany I have to admit that 2 years of dealing with this office has been extremely frustrating. No one ever answers the phones or returns calls, I’ve been trying to get forms for my daughter’s school with no response. Appts will have you waiting in office for HOURS. You will get 100 automated calls telling you it’s time for your child appointment only to be told insurance will not cover it because you’re coming in too early but no one will tell you that when you schedule it. At this point we are going to be switching doctors because with another baby on the way we refuse to deal with this for two kids.

Dr. Bennett is a great doctor, however, shica is very rude and disrespectful, If your job is to answer the phone and take appointments you should have the proper etiquette and training to do so, with that said I might have to look into another pediatric office because I will not take the disrespect.
