Bedford County Health Department

Basic Healthcare for the uninsured. They only draw labs, give prescriptions for chronic illnesses. They do not have any specialty Dr or referral. And plan to be there for 3 hours....The staff's education level is questionable. The MD is great. The NP...not so much.

The bathroom door for women is broken,and little girl's go in there so they need to fix it..It wasn't busy when I went up there,but yet they didn't rush to help me..

We went and got our booster shot. About a 20 minute wait with no appointment. They were nice and helpful and the place seemed clean. It was as soon as they opened. An update to this review is the whole next week I was super sick for the first in couple years. I wore a mask and kept my hands sanitized but still got sick.

Was told to go to the health department to get my son’s birth certificate after he was born. Decided to stop by after getting discharged, the Bedford county department told me I needed to wait 30 days to get one. The hospital told me to go as soon as possible, also my wife needed a copy of his certificate for insurance purposes. I decided not to argue with them because I knew he had an appointment in Murfreesboro the next day, so I decided we’d just swing by the Rutherford county department. Rutherford Co was able to print me a copy with no issues.
