A joke. Cancels appointments ALL the time. Can’t ever make an appointment, when you call at 8am, say they are booked. EVEN when they call to cancel an appointment and tell you to call the next day at 8Am to reschedule, they STILL can’t get you in. SMH Always refers patient to go to urgent care. Worst experience these past 2 years (kept thinking they would turn around…but no such luck). Beavercreek Family Physicians Get it together.

Dr. Surowiec was a good doctor 10 years ago when he first started. Then something changed, not sure what. He didn’t seem to care anymore. He missed an easy diagnosis on me that simple blood work would have shown. I even asked for the blood work and he said it would not show anything. He felt I had anxiety and depression issues. Turns out blood work would have shown I had Leukemia!! Never even apologized to me for not doing blood work. He doesn’t listen well anymore, just wants to prescribe medicine. He’s a prescription filler and nothing more. I would stay away from Dr. Richard Surowiec. There are much better doctors out there. His office staff is not a happy staff like it used to be. Really sad. Beavercreek Family Physicians was a great place back in the day. Not anymore.

Dr. Richard Surowiec has been our family practitioner for several years. He is kind, cheerful, a good diagnostician, and a very good listener. He explains things well and is happy to answer questions. He always asks whether all my questions have been answered before ending the consultation. However, it appears that Dr. Surowiec now has more patients than he can care for adequately. If you are sick, you have to call 8am sharp. If the open slots for that day are filled, they tell you to call back 8am on the next day the doctor is working. This morning I was told I would have to wait more than 2 months for a routine appointment. When my husband and I got COVID back in August, we tried calling the office to get a Paxlovid prescription; it was more than 24 hours before they called us back, by

I was there for a CT Scan w/ Contrast. Everyone was very nice and courteous. Appointment was on time. Nurse handling my procedure was very easy to talk to. Quite personable really. She even had me laughing by the time it was over. All was explained to me while undergoing the test in a professional and easy to understand fashioned. I don't understand the negative ratings. My visit was great. Would highly recommend!
