Beantown Physio - Brookline

In early March, I limped into a consultation with Paul Ghostlaw at the Brookline location with severe knee pain (which I thought to be runners knee) asking if his team could help get me marathon-ready for the Boston Marathon in late April. It was a tight deadline and a big ask. I told him that I was so discouraged at the thought that it might not be possible to do with the pain I was experiencing. He took his time to evaluate my lower body range of motion, strength, and flexibility and quickly identified an imbalance in my hip strength/mobility. Paul reassured me that -while it would be a lot of time, effort, and dedication- he believed his team could help. I am SO grateful that they did. I was diagnosed with a rare vascular condition and underwent 4 major surgeries in the course of a year and a half. Paul and his staff have been amazing to receive care from while I recovered from each surgery. I have also enjoyed the fun, relaxed, social environment in which I have gotten to know some other patients during my sessions. He has created a special place for his patients to recover while also receiving top notch care. I always look forward to my PT days and consider some of them friends now.☺️ Highly recommend this place to all!!

I can’t express enough how amazing the staff and treatment is at Beantown Physio. When I came to them barely able to walk and in horrible pain after knee surgery- they supported me. They worked with me thoroughly and one on one to get me back to my baseline and better. They give their clients homework and phenomenal holistic support. From massage , ice, and heat therapy. You can get yourself and your life back. I won’t go anywhere else for physical therapy ever again!!!

Beantown Physio provides great physical therapy services and options. One of the things that distinguishes them is the teamwork that is apparent when they take care of their patients. Communication is continuous, hand-offs smooth, energy in the room is high, and attention to improving patient health secondo to none. The staff is very attentive, knowledgeable, and treatments are delivered with care and a sensitivity to the patient needs. Highly recommended them if you’re in need of physical therapy.

I can't say enough good things about Beantown Physio. I've been a long term patient, and have worked with several PTs and asst PTs since I've been there. I can honestly say each person I've worked with has been very knowledgeable, extremely nice, and most importantly for me, willing to be open to learning about my unusual condition and work in a collaborative, patient focused way, especially with manual therapy. This is pretty unusual and has lead to more progress in my health and function than I could have imagined.
